South West Coast Path

There is one other adventure lined up before the big one next year, which is for me and my eldest daughter to walk a section of the South West Coast Path (SWCP) – from Penzance to Falmouth.

The journey starts on Saturday 25 July 2015 – so I will keep you posted on progress next week.

I completed a small section of the SWCP from Paington to Exeter, over the space of two days last year, and I would eventually like to walk the entire path (630 miles total distance).

The section next week should be a lovely walk, along some rugged sections of Cornwall coastline. It’s great that my daughter wanted to join me, and I have attempted to plan daily walking lengths that she can manage (8-10 miles per day).

We will see next week if I have judged this right or not.
